Honestly, it's hard for us - math majors to find current trends in Mathematics so I ended up posting Unsolved Problems in Mathematics. This is quite interesting right??

Latin Squares in Practice and Theory II

Ther problem is to line them up in a six by six array so that each row and each column holds one officer of each rank and one officer from each regiment.

i love to play sudoku pero mas mahirap p din ito, sa sudoku kasi puro numbers lng, dito may kasama pang color. hindi n nmn aq makakatulog kakaisip panu ito masolve. kung meon mang naka discover kung panu masosolve ung latin square, idol ko na siya!hehe Ayoko dn tignan ung sagot, gusto ko ako mismo makakslove! oyeah lol XD

eto ung nangyari after ko itry yan..

instead of officers, i used numbers. and ayun..d q masolve haha

according to that page, we can solve it to 5x5 and 7x7

adding yellow as the extra regiment and Joker as the extra rank

i thought sa odd numbers lang xa pwede or sa prime numbers pero pwede dn xa magawa sa 10x10 like this
